You can plaster and paint while trying to breathe.....
Looks like you have some work to be done.. I hope it all goes accordingly to plan.. as with most renos,it's always a time crunch or budget issues.. I rememeber when we had a new bathroom put in.. it was done in about 6 weeks..

Redoing my bathroom is a current dream of mine. Sigh. Glad it will be done soon.
So cool. I can't wait to see the after shots. I'm totally ignoring my ceilings for now. I'll just ask people who visit to be courteous and not look up. Works for me.
