Fail

What do you think of this?

"If you're looking for the quickest road to success, my advice is to fail fast. Find out what you're not good at. Find out that you suck. It's the best information in the world. Now you know what you don't want to do. Now you know what you hate."

At first I thought it was great. But, just because you fail doesn't mean you can't be good at it. Doesn't mean you can't like it. Or does it?

No. There was some video somewhere that talked about some people Like Michael Jordan who sucked at basketball originally, but kept practicing and became, well, Michael Jordan. So, I don't want to be discouraged just because I'm not initially good at something.

And I can't reconcile the fact of failing once at something with failing permanently at it...or deciding you hate it and suck at it.

Let's call this one something that sounds good until you think about it....

Wow. It didn't even settle with me 'initially'. I get the concept, I just think it's a really narrow vision--it undersells our own greatness.

There's my two cents! LOL
