Superbusybrain

So, what do YOU do when you are faced with someone who thinks way too fast and cuts you off when you try and explain something because they think they know what you are saying even though they aren't taking the time to really listen even though you are trying really hard to make them understand?

I ultimately get frustrated and cave and give up trying to explain. Well, after trying once to stop them by saying 'can I finish what I was saying'. And the hackles go up on their end and the conversation is complete.

Thank god I don't work for her. Was just trying to help out my old job.

Going skiing this weekend! Woo hoo!

Glad this is a leftover problem! I have had that happen to me as well, and I tend to just stop talking. The other person can obviously handle both sides of the conversation.

Have a great skiing weekend!

Honestly? I've had to learn to listen to the person in front of me. I'm the one with the super busy/quick brain. And I've learned to shush up and just pay attention to what's being said.

People wanna be heard.
It's that simple.

Give me a whole lotta validation for sticking with the practice.

I used to work with someone like that, and I didn't care too much for him. For the most part, I would give in and let him shoot himself in the foot.

I get quiet and then space out... if you're not going to listen to me, then I'll go to my own little world.

Well, this was someone who started after I left, and am trying to help her out. Ugh.

Mel, please do stick with the practice...

Tara, it's hard for me to stay quiet though.

Space cadet!
And yay skiing!
