For Susan and Tera but not for Heather

Susan, because she is stalking. Tera since she wrote about shit. Heather hates beets.

Did you know that if you eat enough fresh beets at one time that not only will your doodoo turn red, but also your urine? I was very scared yesterday until I realized that's what it was. Mmmm, fresh beets from a farm in Maine.

I bet you could make some money off that knowledge sometime. This is, after all, the internet.

Whoa. I know if you eat enough carrots at a time your skin will actually take on an orange tone.

Churlita. I think about 5 or 6. Which is a fair amount.

Not a huge fan of beets, but changing the color of your pee sounds kinda fun....

kiddo, processed tomatoes will do the same thing, pediatricians call it carrot fever. (at least cheeks dr did. i thought she had jaundice.)

nor, not sure why i knew that but i did. they've been used for dyeing purposes for hundreds of years so it makes sense that enough of them would dye your pee and poop too. brussell sprouts can do odd things to your system too. :)

I don't need that kind of stress, I'm a hypochondriac. ;) My friend did serve me a soup with beets in it and it was very tasty. But I won't do that experiment.

I'm a little late to the party here, but the same thing happened to me last year. It took me several trips to the bathroom to realize what was happening. I was ready to make a doctors appointment and suddenly it was like, "Uh, hello??? The beets?" And it doesn't take as many as you'd think it would.

It actually is pretty cool...

I did not know that, but I am giddy with the knowledge now.
