Saturday Hunt - Sciolsm

OK this word was really difficult for me - the way I understood it was a superficial knowledge of science. Maybe I misunderstood the definition. But here goes:

These clouds and the wind that accompanied them mean that the weather was changing.

Water and leaves and time = compost.

And btw that's not a fake hand. It's mine.

This was a challenge and you met it well! And, as you may have heard, you are IT.

Love that clouds pic, especially! As for the second pic, I just assumed it was your lovely hand holding some wet leaves. :)

I love your pics. I wussed out and didn't do it this week. I just couldn't find a decent photo to use.

Laura, well, thanks. I didn't quite think so, but I guess it's all about what others think. ;-)

Tara, I thought it looked like a wax hand... yucky.

Churlita, I thought I was wussing out, but apparently not...

Next week's work is EASY. to help us all...

"no fake hands were harmed in the making of this scavenger post!"

this was a hard one, even the word-picker can admit that. :P

I enjoyed the beauty of nature and quite frankly you seemed to know what you were talking about so I doubt you are all that sciolistic. Still, you can have your fair revenge on us all with this week's word. :)
