Here's lookin' atcha

One of my recent photos. They seem to let me get really close. Must be my hypnotizing personality. Or maybe it's the sun turning them into a slug. Or maybe I'm a stealthy as a stealth fighter.

I have a really good friend coming into town tomorrow until Friday, so I won't be writing for a bit. And M and I are going to see music tonight. And I have to work today and finish cleaning, and do some errands. I really think I should get addicted to caffeine. Maybe I'll try it.

Had a second dream in a row in which I was sobbing. The other night I had one in which I walked home to find my house on fire. I had forgotten my cell phone so I had to get someone to help me. Sobbing sobbing sobbing. If you look at the online interpretation of that, it shows the state of how you feel about your life. I think it's sad that I couldn't handle it myself - I had to depend on others to help me.

In any event, I gotta go deal with my life. I went for a short walk this morning and came across a dog that was running free. He was friendly so I called him over and got the number (thankfully avoided being licked in the face). No answer. So then I had to get him again to look at the address. Did that, and he wanted to keep going, so I get a stick. He liked that so we ran to his house - all the pedestrians giving me evil glances because he had no leash (not my dog!) - and got him in the gate. Hopefully he won't get out again.

OK, off I go. Have a great day!

I don't think it is sad you needed help...I think it is good that you were able to get help! So part of you must feel confident that you can get the help you need :-)

That was really nice of you to get that dog home. And good thing he had a tag, especially if he is a wanderer!

Oh I love lizards! He's great.

I think laura b. is right. We all need help sometimes. Just like that dog and its person. Good thing you were there to help!

It's not always a bad thing to need help... this, I can preach much better than I practice, but still.

The lizards must be basking in the heat of your warm and open heart!

That dog was lucky to find you so that you could show him the way home!

Have a great time with your visiting friend this week!

PS: That lizard is ready for his/her closeup. It looks like he's smiling, too!

I had eleven lizards when I was growing up and named them all George after my dad.
That's an amazing shot! Those guys are fast.

Laura, I guess... I'm a little perturbed that the woman didn't even call to thank me...

Mel - this was certainly NOT a puppy. If he was, I'd be scared to see him older and bigger.

Ananda - yeah, I know we need help. I just in the past have counted on that too much

Squirrel, no, it's not a bad thing. see my comment to Ananda though. And excuse me while I go throw up the sweetness of your comment... ;-)

Tara - the lizard was perhaps at least as interested in me...

SR - really, the sun kept him there...

I have that happen to me sometimes when I run - a dog gets out and starts following me and running into the street and cars flip me off because they think it's my dog and I'm letting it do that. Good for you for taking care of the pooch.
