Ear Worm

I remembered the song on the radio that I referenced in my last post. I wish I hadn't remembered it because I haven't been able to get it out of my head. Actually I take that back since I was networking all morning and it was gone, and now sharing it with you it's back. Sigh. There are worse songs though.

FYI, will likely be headed back home end July to help move my mom out of her apt. She's staying in assisted living which is a good thing. She's found two friends (one is 95 and one is 100 I think) and so feels good. We just have to find a way to get her to the thrift store to volunteer.

Moving can be so stressful for older people, particularly when moving from independence to assited living. Its so much better when they make friends right away and can see it adds to their lives more than takes anything away.
Ha! I remember Manfred Man's "Do the Freddy!" complete with ridiculous dance moves.

Oh, I'm so glad for the mom! And for all of you.
Yeah--more work.....but more peace of mind too.

And can I just say....

THAT WAS MEAN. I didn't even have to play the darn video and it started......

<-- humming

And now it's in my head! But it's like you said, there could be worse songs. That one is happy!

I'm glad that your mom has a few friends and feels better!

I get this song stuck in my head a lot. It's a good song but awful earworm, because there are so few words and they just keep replaying and replaying in my head.
