Happy Pi Day

Received via email from my geek brother.

Pi, Greek letter (π), is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi = 3.1415926535... Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world on March 14th. www.piday.org

This doesn't look like it could possibly work, but it does (it made sense after I thought about it for a while, and also I checked it with a friend who's a math professor):

Not quite as therapeutic as gardening, maybe, but hey, it involves processed meat products, so it has that going for it.

That's so funny! I think since I'm a geek myself, I'd likely do it with spaghetti since it said thinner is better. Plus, the only frozen hot dogs I have in my freezer are good ones from New England (really, truly, they are good!)

This makes me so happy.

I prefer pecan pie. With Cool Whip on top. :)

Yes, we celebrate Pi Day...I am an 8th Grade Algebra teacher (part-time) for a Scholars Program, and tomorrow we shall celebrate (since we only meet on Saturdays).

My favorite thing that we do is have a contest to see which student can remember the most Pi...it's a hoot!

Susan, I'm glad. And you are on the road, hopefully driving safely.

Tara, I actually only recently started liking pie - I make a mean lemon meringue pie.

Tera, jeez, you are a geek. :-)

WNG, I am jealous. Though I must say I can't wear too too many of 9west shoes since the heels are so high and I'd die, but I do love them. But wow also, 2 days in the store! Whew!

Sadly, nor, someone forgot to mark something on her calendar so the trip is delayed until next weekend.

I celebrated pi day last year on my blog...

This year I will just have a private ceremony for that magical number.
