I've just been bitch-slapped

By my very good friend. Yeah, bitch, it sucks but that's life. Move on.

Sigh. I know.

At least y'all aren't exposed to me twittering my bitterness.

Did you know they are trying to make bitterness a certified mental illness?
Article 1 explaining it.
Article 2 commenting on it.
Pretty interesting. I have to research more to figure out what I think. My initial reaction is that it'd be great for pharmaceutical companies, who could be pushing such a thing. I just think of all the poor kids who are diagnosed with ADD and put on ritalin. That's not to say there is no use for it at all, but when things are over-prescribed, well, that's a problem.

I had to laugh at this. I know people like that and have probably been one at various points. But an actual mental illness? I don't know if I can buy that.

Now the Apathy Disorder... that one I can appreciate. But seems like it might be awfully easy to fake.

Hey... sorry about your friend. That stings.

Nah Anana, it's all good. Can't wallow when so many people have life so much worse.

Anti-bitterness meds. Damn. I can think of some times I could have used that maybe.

Of course, now I am am not walking, but running, to Twitter...

Funny. I should have been on those when I was younger. Strangely, I've become less bitter as I've gotten older...Except about men.

Sorry about your friend, it has happened to me too.

Bless the friends who give us wake-up calls and tell us to get over ourselves.

*chuckling*
Where would I be without mine!

I know I surround myself with people who'll tell me the truth no matter what--and I seem to remember it was for a good reason....LOL
What was that reason again?
Oh yes.....to bitch slap me and remind me 'that's LIFE, Mel--get over it and move on'.

There's a reason for that "There's a $5 fine for whining" sign I have! LOL

Sorry to hear about the bitch slapping. "Everyone is a fuckin' Napoleon."

Bitterness meds, eh? H'mmm... troubling.

Laura, you like my bitterness?? I think the best drug is a better outlook on life.

Churlita, I think anyone who has the capacity to grow becomes less bitter as they get older. But, if you keep running into asshole men, well, that's another story.

CEO, see, in this case, I consider it a good thing. Right Mel?
