Saturday Hunt - Maintenance

So, on this long weekend for some of us, and even longer weekend for fewer of us, it's a great time for maintenance.

Weekly maintenance of doing laundry:

And some longer term maintenance such as sealing off this gap so not quite so much cold air comes in. That's a close up of my basement door and the door frame and the space between it -- you should not be able to see the light of day.

I haven't done any maintenance. I don't want to injure my soft office worker hands. Haha.

Both the A.C. and the heat went out in my old car at the same time...and I actually do use both this time of the year. I see a miserable day laying on the parking lot looking up into the the abyss of wires, hoses, metal etc under my car. Boo. Maintenance. Boo.

Well, heck.....if you're running out of things to do, feel free to c'mon over and tend to them while I watch the Eagles lose....

Or, you could come over here and watch Baltimore lose to Pittsburg.

Or you could come over here and watch...wait, I'm not watching tv.

Good examples, I maintained my laundry too this weekend before it could get out of control.

But at least you can do it yourself!

Mel, um, never, ever running out of things to do. alas.

Monty, thanks for both invites. Someday....

Susan, thus I could have watched what I wanted.

Tara, it's always good to do it before it walks away on its own...

Laundry and dishes...the two never ending maintenance chores.
Good choices! Now, what do you do about that door?

I do the maintenance around my house.. unless its a guy thing and then I wait and wonder if it will get repaired.. I have a basement door that came off the hinges.. and I'm still waiting for it to get fixed.. Hmmm... maybe I should try maintaining it..

I try and do a load of laundry every day, so it doesn't get out of control.

Laura, I actually did nothing yet. It's something that's not intuitive to me, so I'll tackle it when I feel brave. You have to screw a panel into the door frame.

Mrs. - do it!

Churlita, that would be a good thing, for sure.
